Abstract

In recent years, the increasing demand for cloud computing has raised concerns about data security and privacy. Blockchain technology has emerged as a promising solution to address these challenges by providing secure, decentralized, and transparent data transmission mechanisms. This research aims to explore the potential of blockchain technology in enhancing data security within cloud computing environments. The study examines the integration of blockchain with cloud services, focusing on its ability to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and authentication during transmission. A qualitative approach was used to analyze existing literature and case studies on blockchain applications in cloud computing. The findings suggest that blockchain's decentralized nature can significantly mitigate risks associated with data breaches, unauthorized access, and data manipulation in cloud platforms. Additionally, the implementation of blockchain-based encryption techniques can strengthen the overall security infrastructure of cloud services. The implications of this research highlight the importance of adopting blockchain technology for secure data transmission, offering a robust solution for businesses and organizations seeking to protect sensitive information in cloud environments.
