Community innovation plays a vital role in fostering sustainable development and economic self reliance within local communities. This study explores the dynamics of community driven innovation, focusing on how it contributes to the development of entrepreneurial mindsets and the empowerment of local populations. The research examines the key factors influencing innovation in community contexts, including collaborative learning, social networks, and localized innovation practices. These elements are critical in enhancing entrepreneurial capabilities, providing access to resources, and fostering economic resilience. The study highlights the importance of integrating entrepreneurial mindset development into local development programs to enhance the sustainability and adaptability of community driven initiatives. It also compares the community innovation model with traditional linear development models, emphasizing the added value of innovation driven, dynamic approaches to addressing complex socio economic challenges. The findings suggest that community driven innovation leads to long term self reliance and economic empowerment, as it nurtures a culture of entrepreneurship that adapts to local needs and conditions. The study calls for the adoption of holistic, innovation oriented strategies in community development, which consider not only economic growth but also social inclusion and environmental sustainability. Additionally, the paper recommends further research on the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic self reliance, focusing on how local innovation initiatives can be scaled and integrated into broader development policies.
